End of an era.

Pasquale’s loud, obnoxious space with overwhelming smoke smell Restaurant is no more. As I walked into Northtown Mall in Blaine this evening, the place had already been gutted after shutting its doors last Monday.

Perhaps if a certain couple who had their first date there in the 1980s had their picture hung up on the Pasquale's Wall of Fame…..

…it would have attracted a ton more business and had much classier clientele.

C’mon Greg! Why do you and your wife have to be so humble? I betcha they would have even roped off the booth you sat in and made it a tourist attraction.

Wow, I can hardly believe Pasqualid's is gone! Seriously, it was a nice place on November 11, 1986 when we first had lunch there. The last time we visited was on the 15th anniversary of that first date. I get all choked up thinking about the smoke inhalation we suffered that evening. That restaurant was one of the first landmarks on our journey together, but the souvenirs I took home were better than the food ever was. Thanks for the nostalgia!
