Baseball is back, baby!!!!!!!!!
Since Opening Day is this week, let's look back at a memorable opener from 2011 when the Los Angeles Dodgers hosted the San Francisco Giants - March 31, 2011.
-----------------------------------------
This game featured the first ever Opening Day start for Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw. In taking on the defending World Series champions, Kershaw pitched seven shutout innings for the win. 2011 would also prove to be a breakout season for the young lefty as he won the National League Cy Young award in addition to winning the NL pitching "Triple Crown" (i.e. led the league in Wins, E.R.A and strikeouts).
