I'm in Des Moines, IA on business but I'm ready to unwind and watch the Vikings' season opener against the Green Bay Packers.
The general consensus seems to be that the Vikes would be a Super Bowl contender if they had an established QB. The fact is Tarvaris Jackson has made improvements, but will it be enough? He will have plenty of chances to make plays this season since opponents will be stacking the box against Adrian Peterson.
The Vikes have a good shot tonight but I believe home field will eventually make the difference.
I hope I'm wrong, but I'm thinking Packers 20 Vikings 17
