Did Obama know something we didn't?

When I first saw the above photo, I figured Barack Obama was merely being the typical unpatriotic, elitist snob by not putting his hand on his heart during the National Anthem.

However, I may have leapt to the wrong conclusion. Perhaps Obama knew of Jesse Jackson’s desire to…um…”castrate” the junior Senator from Illinois.
