Welcome to the dog days of August! Today's 2-hour edition of my radio show The Closer gets started at 1:00 PM Central Time. 

The select committee in the U.S. House began its probe into the January 6 Capitol riots. While it's clear the incident was not on par with the terrorist attacks of 9/11/2001, it was definitely not merely a "protest." 

Also, the COVID scare mongering has returned with the CDC completely losing any and all credibility in the process.

At 1:30 PM, longtime friend of the broadcast Jeff Kolb will check in to discuss a fundraiser he and his wife started to honor Barway Collins in their home city of Crystal, MN.
