There are times when all the world's asleep.....

With my friend and Northern Alliance Radio Network colleague Mitch Berg away on assignment, I will assume the reins of his Saturday broadcast The Headliner. I'll be on the air 1-3 PM Central Time.

In the first hour I'll discuss a federal court overturning the MN Secretary of State's deadline extension for absentee ballots. I will also look back on Judge Amy Coney Barrett becoming Justice Barrett after being confirmed to the U.S. Supreme Court last Monday.

At 2:00, Republican candidate in Minnesota's Third Congressional District Kendall Qualls will check in from the campaign trail.

Finally at 2:30, former KSTP and KARE news guy Tom Ryther will stop by. Tom will share his perspective on the latest news stories as well as weigh in on how journalism has degraded since his time in the profession.

So please call (651) 289-4488 if you'd like to weigh in on any of the topics we plan on addressing.

You can listen live in the Twin Cities at AM 1280 or, if you're near downtown Minneapolis/West Metro area, 107.5 FM on your radio dial.
