Tampa Bay Rays at Detroit Tigers - July 3, 2014.
----------------------------------
Are you familiar with how baseball positions are numbered?
Here's a quick tutorial:
1 (pitcher), 2 (catcher), 3 (first baseman), 4 (second baseman), 5 (third baseman), 6 (shortstop), 7 (left fielder), 8 (center fielder), and 9 (right fielder).
Technically a designated hitter doesn't have a number, but if it did, logic dictates it would be "0."
So with that, the Rays in this game probably generated the first ever Tommy Tutone "8-6-7-5-3-0-9 (Jenny)" lineup.
Check out the first seven hitters and see for yourself!
