Going real old school this week. It's a June 1932 game with the New York Yankees taking on the Philadelphia Athletics.
----------------------------------------------
Of all the legendary sluggers in Yankees history, only one player ever hit for a "natural cycle," which is hitting a single, double, triple and home run in order. Also, only one "Bronx Bomber" ever hit four home runs in a single game.
Both feats occurred in that June 1932 contest against the Philly Athletics.
Yanks third baseman Tony Lazzeri hit for the natural cycle while Lou Gehrig clubbed four homers.
