Box Score of the Week

It's the All-Star break, so naturally we'll feature an MLB All-Star Game this week. Let's check out the 1949 contest at Ebbets Field.


Just over two years earlier, Jackie Robinson broke baseball's color barrier. As such, this was the first All-Star Game which featured black players as Robinson, Roy Campanella, Don Newcombe and Larry Doby all participated.
