The calendar says mid September, but today's weather makes it feel like the dog days of August. With that said, enjoy on last day of air conditioning inside while indulging in today's edition of my radio show The Closer. The 2-hour broadcast gets started at 1:00 PM Central Time.
In the first hour I will weigh in on local political happenings, including former MNGOP Chair Jennifer Carnahan indicating she may run for her old job in the near future, or perhaps elected office. Also, DFL House leadership expelled Rep. John Thompson from their caucus.
In the second hour I'll discuss the perpetual ineptitude of the Joe Biden administration.
Finally at 2:30, John Byrnes of Concerned Veterans for America will join the program to discuss festering issues within the Dept. of Veterans Affairs
And if you're so inclined, follow along on Twitter at #NARNShow or "Like" our Facebook page, where we also conduct a "Live Stream" of the broadcast.
Until then.....

Comment about the ballot question about abolishing the Minneapolis Police Force facing Minneapolis voters:
The recklessly irresponsible, immoral, asinine and evil ballot question which asks Minneapolis residents to vote on whether to abolish the good, courageous Minneapolis Police Department is a most unwise question to put before the voters. This ballot question should never have seen the light of day. The thrust of this ballot question does absolutely nothing to defend law and order; in fact, it does just the opposite - it works against defending law and order. The thrust of this ballot question does nothing to better protect civil society; in fact, it does just the opposite - it works against protecting civil society. Maintaining a civil society absolutely requires enforcement of law and order by a good, local police force. Adequate local police staffing levels absolutely requires a certain number of local police per capita.
How many 911 calls in Minneapolis presently wait too long for the local Minneapolis Police to respond? We all know that the answer is higher than zero. What is the average response time by the Minneapolis Police Force to 911 calls, this year? Ideally, what should the Minneapolis Police Force response time be to calls to 911?
Unfortunately, the subset of society that benefits from the elimination of minimum, good police staffing levels is the violent criminals. The abolishment of the good Minneapolis Police Force, not to mention the elimination of required minimum good Minneapolis Police Force staffing levels leave the good law abiding citizens - including the children - living inside Minneapolis much more vulnerable to becoming criminal statistics, as the good law abiding citizens - including the children - increasingly fall prey to violent criminals. Violent, non-compliant criminals do not stop their violent behavior of their own accord, or upon repeated, pleading requests. Violent, non-compliant criminals must regularly and successfully BE STOPPED by quick acting, targeted, overwhelming physical force by the crime fighters. To do anything less than stopping the violent, non-compliant criminals merely enables the violent, non-compliant criminals to commit even more acts of violence.
To quote the famous Batman cartoon character, "For crime-fighters to survive, they must be prepared." And a pre-requisite for good crime-fighters to be prepared is for the good crime-fighters to first be existent (which is the opposite of being abolished), and to be fully employed, in addition to being fully trained, and fully equipped with all the resources needed to successfully fight crime.
This evil, recklessly irresponsible, immoral, asinine ballot question plays a key part in the take down of civil society in America; if it succeeds in passing in Minneapolis, by hook or by crook, with the aid of illegal election fraud and with the aid of illegal voter fraud by use of ballot harvesting techniques, etc, then this process with be replicated across our country by the same evil Antifa and BLM anarchist types.
This ballot question must be invalidated ASAP and it must be continued to be challenged in court, all the way up to the Supreme Court, if necessary. I cannot begin to unravel and understand the "wisdom" of the legal reasoning used by the Minnesota Supreme Court judges to let this evil, asinine, recklessly irresponsible, and immoral ballot question be reinstated on the ballot. Pray for G-d to help us!
