From the day that I was born, I've waved the flag.....

It's the first Sunday in five months without NFL football, so I'm hoping for a spike in folks listening live. Today's 2-hour edition of The Closer gets started at 1:00 PM Central Time.

In the first hour I'll weigh in on the latest regarding the scandals surrounding the top three Democrat officials in Virginia's executive branch. I will also look at the disturbing trend of Dems in the U.S. Senate showing hostility toward the religious beliefs of judicial nominees.

On the local scene, Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) will be making an announcement in Minneapolis at 1:30 regarding her political future. We'll keep tabs on that and discuss once the official statement is made.

At 2:00, I will be joined by Jason Rarick (R-Pine City), who prevailed in this past Tuesday's special election in MN Senate District 11. Then at 2:30, cyber security expert and author D. Greg Scott will stop by to promote his latest novel entitled Virus Bomb.

So please call (651) 289-4488 if you'd like to weigh in on any of the topics we plan on addressing.

You can listen live in the Twin Cities at AM 1280 or, if you're near downtown Minneapolis/West Metro area, 107.5 FM on your radio dial. In and out of the Minneapolis-St Paul area you can listen to the program on the Internet by clicking this link, or check us out via iheart radio as well as Amazon Echo (just say "Alexa, play The Patriot Minneapolis")If you're unable to tune in live, please check out my podcast page for the latest show post.
