Happy New Year!
It's my first broadcast of 2025, and the year is definitely off to a raucous start. I'll be back in the Patriot bunker today for my radio show The Closer. The 2-hour blitz gets started at 1:00 PM Central Time.
On New Years Day alone, two harrowing terrorist incidents in two different major cities showed just how inept the FBI has become.
At 1:30, former U.S. Ambassador to the Holy See Francis Rooney will join the broadcast to discuss what foreign policy should look like in Donald Trump's second presidential term.
Then at 2:00, MNGOP candidate Paul Wikstrom will join the broadcast to discuss his candidacy in the special election for Minnesota House District 40B (northern Roseville, eastern Shoreview).
So please call (651) 289-4488 if you'd like to weigh in on any of the topics we plan on addressing.
And if you're so inclined, follow along on Twitter at #NARNShow or "Like" our Facebook page, where we also conduct a "Live Stream" of the broadcast.
Until then.....

Hey Brad! I'm very sorry to hear about your mom's declining health. I wish her a most speedy recovery. Your mother is extremely blessed to have you for her son, and so are we, your radio-talk show listeners.
Brad, I am not a conspiracy theorist. Having said that, something may be amiss regarding the radio listener call-in phone number at am1280thepatriot, (651) 289-4488. I was repeatedly dialing it beginning at 2:41 PM, during your show, this Sunday afternoon, while also looking forward to watching the huge Vikings game at Detroit, this evening. I constantly kept getting a busy signal. I tried using another phone and still got a busy signal. I don't believe you had any radio listeners who successfully got through to you, either, during this afternoon's broadcast. Am I wrong about that? Anyway, even though your co-host, Mitch Berg, covered a second upcoming special election in MN, during his broadcast yesterday, I felt it was worth repeating the fact during your show that Republican candidate Abby Wolters in Senate District 60 is running in a special election. I pasted the following text from the MN Secretary of State's website: "The governor has issued a Writ of Special Election to fill a vacancy in Senate District 60 using the schedule below. The vacancy was caused by the death of Senator Kari Dziedzic on December 27, 2024. Senate District 60 represents northeastern parts of Minneapolis in Hennepin County.
Election Dates
Special Primary: January 14, 2025
Special Election: January 28, 2025 "
Candidate Abigail Wolter's website is abigailwolters.com. President and Chair of the Minneapolis Republicans, Shawn Holster, was also talking about this special election during the same broadcast. (Mitch plugs it on his NARN website).
Godspeed, Brad

Thanks for the kind words, Dan. Mom's been on a slow decline for a few years now but has really taken a downturn since July. She'll be in a LTC starting this Thursday, one which we like a lot!
Anyhow, sorry about the snafu with the phones. I don't know that I got any calls at all during the show, so perhaps there was a lingering issue. I'll be sure to test 'em out this Sunday.
