Howard Schultz: unifying presence

Big news this past weekend in that Starbucks founder Howard Schultz is contemplating a third party candidacy for President in 2020.

Naturally it's the leftists who are having the collective freak out due to their worry that a candidate Schultz would siphon off Democrat votes, thus handing reelection to President Trump in 2020.

Perhaps my favorite raging spittle came from "Think" "Progress" guy Ian Millhiser.

The only previous high profile boycotts against Starbucks came courtesy of some Christians who objected to the design of their holiday coffee cups. If nothing else, Schultz has done something which few thought possible in this era of deep political divides: He unified secular progressives and fundamentalist Christians in their respective disdains towards his company.
