In a marathon game that lasts 16 innings, it's not unusual for teams to trot out position players to pitch once they've burned through their bullpens. In this game, Orioles IF/OF Stevie Wilkerson pitched a 1-2-3 bottom of the 16th inning to secure his team's win. It marked the first time in MLB history that a position players earned a save.
