Remember when late night TV featured comedy?

Even though he's been off the air for nearly 30 years (and dead for more than 16), I still miss Johnny Carson. 

Here is a clip from around Thanksgiving 1979 we he and Tonight Show band leader Doc Severinsen we're having a casual chat about the upcoming holiday when it turned into hilarious banter. 

Ah yes. Late night comedy. Back when it wasn't awkward and forced while laced with leftist tripe. The good ol' days.
