My friend and Northern Alliance Radio Network colleague Mitch Berg is away on assignment today, so I will assume the reins of The Headliner edition of the NARN. Today's 2-hour tilt gets started at 1:00 PM Central Time. 

On the local scene, I'll discuss some news involving the trial of former Brooklyn Center police officer Kim Potter, who is being charged with manslaughter in the death of 20-year old Daunte Wright. 

Speaking of high profile shootings, I will weigh in on the homicide trial of Kyle Rittenhouse, specifically how national media outlets have shed any pretense of objectivity towards the proceedings. 

At 1:30, Minnesota Republican gubernatorial candidate (and, for purposes of full disclosure, personal friend) Michelle Benson will check in with the latest from the campaign trail.
