Swimming through the void, we hear the word......

A lot to get to on today's edition of my radio show The Closer. The 2-hour bonanza gets started at 1:00 PM Central Time. 

How much longer will Rep. John Thompson (DFL-St Paul) be able to withstand the speculation of whether or not he resides in the House District he represents? Also, the bodycam footage of his July 4 arrest was released, so we'll discuss if it was as bad as he claimed. 

On the national level, I'll weigh in on the sudden authoritarian nature of the Joe Biden administration.

At 2:00, political wonk (and Texan) Matt Mackowiak will check in to discuss the appalling behavior of the Democrats in his home state's Legislature as well as his advocacy in helping revive his home city of Austin, TX.
