Being raised by your grandfather could make it easy to forget who your real father was, but you'd think he'd remember the father he wrote a book about. Unless he didn't write the book.
I believe Mr. Obama meant to say "grandfather" as his maternal grandfather did indeed serve in WWII. But as we found out in the Bush years, these types of gaffes are absolutely unacceptable and thus must be emphasized over and over and over.
