Full Speed Ahead!

So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

The last piece of our big move is now complete. We closed on the sale of my mother-in law's house today after said closing was postponed three times. We are scheduled to have a walkthrough of our newly constructed home on September 25 and then move in on the 30th!

Sure it's been a long process, especially the uncertainty at being able to sell two homes in a slumping housing market. In fact, we've had more than a few people tell us we were crazy and that there was no way we would be able to pull off such a feat. But we also knew that if God can create the universe, certainly He can help us move two houses.

So with all the gnashing of teeth over the seemingly grim financial news this past week, I simply refuse to participate. While I don't take such news lightly, I do realize where our best investments have been made. And the return on those investments will last an eternity!
