Box score of the week (postseason edition)

UPDATE: I'll let Mr. D tell you:

"It is the only time in World Series history that the last out was made on an attempted stolen base. Babe Ruth was thrown out trying to steal second after coaxing a walk."

Game 7, 1926 World Series. Other than the magnitude of the game, what was unique about it?

Let’s see. Grover Cleveland Alexander saved it, struck out Tony Lazzeri in the 7th inning to stop the Yankees. Legend has it that Alexander was hung over (he had won the game the day before and wasn’t expecting to pitch – sort of the baseball equivalent of Max McGee in Super Bowl I).

But I’m guessing the answer you want is it is the only time in World Series that the last out was made on an attempted stolen base. Babe Ruth was thrown out trying to steal second after coaxing a walk.
